Wednesday Night Paddlers

Our Wednesday night paddle group
went on a sunset/moonlight paddle.
We began our paddle just before dusk.
The water was like glass, the skys were clear and that made for a beauiful sunset.
We paddled for three hours, only taking a few breaks.
The fun began as we all turned on our lamps and
headed back to the drop in point.  By that time my arms
were killing me and I was beginning to
feel the wall of insects on the lake.
Over all it was a nice paddle.
I am looking forward to our next trip.

More Cruise Layouts

This is when we were in Bar Harbor Maine.
Michael and I walk the same little trail
around the area that we did the
last time we visited.  I love that little town.
All three of us got a private kayaking tour of the harbor.
We used ocean kayaks.
They are so much easier to use because
they have the little rutter to help stear.
We saw all sorts of wildlife during the trip.
It rained the whole time we were in St. John's.
So we didn't do any side trips.
We just walked around the little town.

Halifax had better weather.
We were ble to take a tour of the city and visit some gardens.
We also went to a maritime museum
but I haven't completed that page yet.
Thanks for taking a look at my work.

HOT HOT HOT!!!

What do you do when everyday is in the 90's or 100's??????
I go SWIMMING (water aerobics)!!!
Thank goodness for this class everyday.
I get in shape and cooled off.
Notice the haze in the picture.  It has been so hot for
so long we have had a code RED for pollution
for a couple weeks now.
I hope it rains soon so it clears out the skys.

KEEP COOL!

What's UP????

It has been exactly a month since I last posted.
We have been trying to stay cool here in Maryland.
With temps in the 100's I am ready for fall.
We celebrated Father's Day at home and had a nice dinner out.
We hit the batting cages and Rita's!
Michael and I joined a local kayaking group.  They meet on Wednesdays and paddle the local waters.
We went to Hershey Park on one of the cooler days.  Sarah and her friend rode every rollercoaster in the park!  On the Fourth of July we braved the heat and crowds to watch the fireworks in dowtown Columbia.
Well that was our month.
I have been scrapping and will post my layouts soon.
