Word Art Wednesday

Over at my Photo Blog I participate in a weekly Word Art Wednesday challenge.  They give us a Bible verse or quote to use in a piece of art.  I usually put it on one of my photographs I have taken.
But this week I wasn't feeling any of my pictures, so I created something in my art journal.  I was thinking HEARTs!  This is what became of all my messiness.

Spring has Arrived!

You know it is spring WHEN:  My hubby has hit the river!

Magnolias are bursting at the seams.

Crocuses are in full bloom.

The frogs are back out in our little pond.

Scrapbook Life Journal

Here is month two of the Scrapbook Life Journal project.

This month’s theme is SURRENDER.
Below are the pages I completed for this month.

~Surrendering means, self denial.

~Surrendering means, the Lord is in control.

~Surrendering means, acknowledging that everything comes from the Lord.

~Surrendering means, submitting my life to the Lord.

“Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word” Luke 1:38

I found this quote from John Wesley that reads:
“Lord, I am no longer my own, but Yours. Put me to what You will, rank me with whom You will. Let be employed by You or laid aside for You, exalted for You or brought low by You. Let me have all things, let me have nothing, I freely and heartily yield all things to Your pleasure and disposal. And now, O glorious and blessed God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, You are mine and I am Yours. So be it. Amen.”
