Word Filled Wednesday

"Biblical hope is defined as a confident expectation and desire for something good in the future. This hope is fueled by our desire.  God put deep desires in us for good things (love, security, significance, intimacy, etc.,) and these desires drive us toward a greater experience of life."
Pastor Bob Perdue

Monday Morning

On this gloomy Monday morning I decided to create some cards.  I just love all the 6x6 paper pads that are out there now.  OK maybe I should say, I am addicted to the 6x6 paper pads.  All the papers are so nice for card making.

I found most of these card ideas on Pinterest!

Still using up my Summer Fresh papers!

Love the rainbow colors!

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a marvelous MONDAY!

And So It Begins........

Well I have finished our Alaskan Cruise Album, so I am now working on Matthew and Sarah's wedding album.  This is not going to be you typical frilly wedding book.  They had a carnival themed wedding and reception.  So I am trying to hunt down colorful papers to use on my layouts.
Here they are at the Manassas Battlefields.  Since it was winter, I thought it would be an interesting background for their photos.  I used rainbow paper and some twine to make a simple layout.  The verse on the right is from Song of Solomon 3:4  "I found the one I love.  I held him and would not let him go."
I used a sketch from my favorite scrapbooking site, Let's Scrap.  These pictures are from Sarah's bridal shower.  I used Fancy Pants:Time for Spring papers. The colors worked perfectly with the pictures and had a fun carnivalish theme to them.

Thanks for taking a peek at my layouts.

Alaskan Cruise Album

Today I finished our Alaskan Cruise album.  I used WeRMemories page protectors.  This made the process of using 500+ pictures much more manageable.  Please forgive the glare on my pages.  I couldn't get a good angle when taking my page pictures.
If you want to read in more detail about our trip you can go HERE The post are backwards, just hit the older post button at the bottom of each page.

Scrapbooking

Starting the year off with a January LOAD (Layout A Day) challenge over at Let's Scrap.  Each double page counts as 2 pages!  So I am up to 6 pages.
This is the last of our Colorado trip.
Below is from our trip to Door County, Wisconsin.  We drove from Chicago to the top of the Door County peninsula.  Along the way we stopped at many lighthouses.  I took pictures with my Instagram app.  Then I printed them out at 2.5 inches and made this fun layout.
I am almost done with my Alaskan cruise album.  I am going to make a slide show for you to see soon.
Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day!

Christmas Photo Shoot

Nice shades Chris!
Every year I try to get a picture of just the kids and then a family picture.  Since I had all these props left over from the wedding this year, I made a few Christmas themed one to add to the bunch.

This made for a fun photo shoot!
I took a few shoots as the kids adjusted their props.!

These turned out FUN!
So, Michael and I grabbed a couple props!
Merry Christmas 2012!
