This morning I was watching the news and I glanced out the window. What did I see??? SNOW was falling from the sky. It made me so happy. So I took blue for a long walk. Then I took this video. I love the big flakes.

Going on a Road Trip
Leaving today for a short trip to NY. I am going to go see all my friends and scrapbook this weekend. The weather says that it is going to be snowing up there so I am super excited about that too.
I leave you with a layout I did a few days ago. I made it for a sketch site http://52sketches52weeks.ning.com/ The creator of the site makes a sketch each week and then you can enter your layout for a random drawing of goodies. I plan on trying to keep up with this site for the year. I will make a slide show as soon as I get a few more done.
Have a blessed day.

Their lives will bear the Spirit’s fruit
And magnify His Word. —D. De Haan

Making a List and Checking it Twice.

I LOVE making lists. I make them here at home and at work. I just get satisfaction from crossing things off. I don't think I am failing if I don't get things from my lists done. I think it is just an organizational tool for me to see what needs to be done. I usually prioritize my lists so I get the important things done first. So here is my list for this week.
1. Call dentist (Done)
2. Go to M's to buy page protectors and put them in albums. (Done)
3. Get brows waxed (Done)
4. Grocery shop (Done)

Tuesday - Tacos X
Wednesday - Homemade Pizza X I cheated and used french bread instead.

Puddles

These are not the kind you stomp in during a rain storm. They are the ones that melt in your mouth. Each year my hubbies boss sends us these little goodies for the holidays. Well since they are all gone. I found this recipe. I will have to try to make some more for Valentines Day.
CHOCOLATE CARAMEL TURTLES
16 oz. pkg. caramels
2 tbsp. water
3/4 lb. pecan halves
6 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Melt caramels and water. Stir until melted. Arrange 36 groups of pecans, 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet. Drop melted caramel by teaspoon on top of nuts. Cool. Melt chocolate chips. Frost top of turtle. Makes 3 dozen.

I would like to tell you all that my hubby deserves the best husband in the world award! He cleaned my fridge yesterday. Not just wipe it out, but a deep cleaning. Thanks, babe.
