Wedding Layouts

I am working on the "Wedding Album"  this week.
Here is my beautiful daughter in law getting
ready for the ceremony
I pulled out my new hexagon punch, washi, flowers and my scraps.

I didn't use any sketches for these layouts.  I am trying to use up all my scrap from my Summer Fresh PP's, so I need to be more creative in my design.
Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day!

Smashbooking

I really enjoy this type of scrapbooking.  In the beginning I thought smashing would be too unorganized for me, but I am finding the spontaneity of creating a page on the spot really FUN!
Below are pages from my daily life smashbook.
On this page I used some fabric from the kids wedding to make the banner.  I even messed up some writing on the page so I just covered it up with washi tape.
Spring had a hard time arriving this year.  As soon as the weather warmed up we were outside enjoying the warm temps.
This year I kept all the plant spikes and put them on a page!  I have been really working on our garden.  I don't like all the work it takes, but the results are great! I will make a page of the finished yard soon.
These next few pages are from our Embassy Walk.  It was great fun taking a peek into the cultures of different countries.  The best part was that it didn't cost us anything for this little European tour.

I had a lot of photos for these pages.  I hid my journaling under the pictures.

I had a great Mother's Day and I loved the card my DIL and son made me!  I also included the note from my son. He sent me the beautiful flowers!
