I was tagged by Nessa to do this: Go to the place on your computer where you store your photos, then to the sixth folder, then to the sixth photo. Take that photo, put it on your blog and tell it's story! So here is mine....
This is a funny one that will mean nothing to anyone but me and a few NY friends. I was visiting a friend Jule and during the winter she keeps marshmellows in her oven. They have dried out and are like little crunchy sugar bites. Jule LOVES them. Me????? Not so much. Since I have my new little camera I take random pictures ALL the time. This was the 6th photo in the 6th folder. Hahahahaha.
It was THE most awful thing in the world. (Yes, I would rather give birth.) Last time I did sedation. That way is exspensive, so I thought I would give it a try with nitrous.
I felt I was being sufficated the whole time.
I guess I must breath out of my mouth more than I realized.
When it was all over, 3 hours later, I realized I had to come back to get the permanent crown put on. O'my gosh. They gave me valium for the next visit. I feel like such a baby. I am sure 90% of the fear is in my head.
So today wasn't that great. Hopefully the rest of the week will be better.
Regardless of who you voted for, your new president and My new president is the one who’s been set in authority by the sovereign hand of God (Romans 13) and we are commanded to support and pray for this man in his new overwhelming responsibility as leader of the free world—whether you voted for him or not.
At the end of the day we trust in a God who is in control and for whom the Scripture says, "The nation's rage, but the purposes of the Lord cannot be thwarted!" (Psalm 2) So please take time today to pray for all of our new leaders.
Have a blessed day.
"I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth."
So hubby came home and said he was going to go clear the driveway from the blizzard we had today. I heard this blowing noise from the kitchen. So I looked out and saw this..... Yes he is using the leaf blower to blow away the snow. I really should have been surprised to see him doing this. In the fall I caught him vacuming the acrons off the driveway. Heehee.......ROFL
This morning I was watching the news and I glanced out the window. What did I see??? SNOW was falling from the sky. It made me so happy. So I took blue for a long walk. Then I took this video. I love the big flakes.

I leave you with a layout I did a few days ago. I made it for a sketch site http://52sketches52weeks.ning.com/ The creator of the site makes a sketch each week and then you can enter your layout for a random drawing of goodies. I plan on trying to keep up with this site for the year. I will make a slide show as soon as I get a few more done.

I LOVE making lists. I make them here at home and at work. I just get satisfaction from crossing things off. I don't think I am failing if I don't get things from my lists done. I think it is just an organizational tool for me to see what needs to be done. I usually prioritize my lists so I get the important things done first. So here is my list for this week.

These are not the kind you stomp in during a rain storm. They are the ones that melt in your mouth. Each year my hubbies boss sends us these little goodies for the holidays. Well since they are all gone. I found this recipe. I will have to try to make some more for Valentines Day.
CHOCOLATE CARAMEL TURTLES
16 oz. pkg. caramels
2 tbsp. water
3/4 lb. pecan halves
6 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips Melt caramels and water. Stir until melted. Arrange 36 groups of pecans, 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet. Drop melted caramel by teaspoon on top of nuts. Cool. Melt chocolate chips. Frost top of turtle. Makes 3 dozen.
