Regardless of who you voted for, your new president and My new president is the one who’s been set in authority by the sovereign hand of God (Romans 13) and we are commanded to support and pray for this man in his new overwhelming responsibility as leader of the free world—whether you voted for him or not.
At the end of the day we trust in a God who is in control and for whom the Scripture says, "The nation's rage, but the purposes of the Lord cannot be thwarted!" (Psalm 2) So please take time today to pray for all of our new leaders.

Have a blessed day.
"I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth."
1 Timothy 2:1-4.

CaroL Great reminder on praying for the leader of our country, the president and his staff, congress and senate all need to have the prayers of the faithful lifting them up on high. Thank you for the reminder.
Amen!
Well said, my friend. Remembering that perfect love casts out all fear, we WILL trust in the Lord, Our God.
