October Adventures

We loaded up the Subaru and headed to the Eastern Shore.

We camped for two nights in the Assateague State Park.

We spent our days kayaking around the marsh areas.

During the evenings we biked the great trails and watched the sunset!

Today we biked the Rock Creek bike trail.
We rode for 7 miles through the woods,
over little bridges and ended up in dowtown DC.

We rode our bikes past all the monuments.
This was so much easier than walking!
We stopped for a snack on the
steps of the Lincoln Memorial.

Then we headed to the Metro and rode the train back to the park area because the wind was blowing 20mph and it would have been a tough ride back.  The train let us out pretty close to the trail and we rode another mile back to the car.  Fun DAY!

Beautiful Autumn

We spent the afternoon biking and hiking the
Grist Mill Trail in Pataspco State Park.

We spent time on the swinging bridge and cascade falls.

Have a blessed day.

May we give to Him our praise

Kayaking

Today was cooler than usual so we took the yaks out onto the Tridelphia Reservoir.
It was as smooth as glass.
Nice!

25 YEARS!

Michael and I celebrated our 25th anniversary
by going on a murder mystery dinner cruise.
We sailed around the inner harbor for 3 hours, ate dinner,
tried to figure out "who done it"
and took in all the sights along the harbor.
Great evening! You know I had to get a shot of the lighthouse! Michael with a couple of the actors. Don't mind the crazy hair, it was really windy! Balitmore harbor at dusk.
