So I dreamed of this layout last night. I found the quote on Pinterest last night. (I love that place.) Then I used the sketch from Let's Scrap. Then I remembered I had this rainbow paper from a million years ago:) It all came together. So I got up early and created this!
I am going to make a companion page to go along with the kids engagement pictures. The journaling will be on that page. I need to find more colorful papers
to make their wedding album.
I am going to to show you a little trick to save paper
that was taught to me a long time ago
from my dear friend Stephanie. This is good
for when you want to layer papers.
Then you are left with this frame. Cut your next piece of paper a bit smaller and save enough space for adhesive.
I used the extra piece for a frame. You could use it for journaling, fonts, diecuts or save it for later.
Here is what the back of my layout looks like. It is a bit more flimsy but it is going into an album so it doesn't matter. This is a good way to make your papers (exspecially those exspensive two sided ones)

Thanks you SO much! I used your "trick" to cut away beneath the frame of my submission for this week's sketch on Let's Scrap! I was then able to use that piece to cut a mat for my focal photo!
Love your photos, colorful paper and biblical quotation for this amazing layout! Congrats to your son and his wife!
What a great idea! I often do cut out underneath large areas, but I don't believe I've ever cut out one of those frames...love that cutting tool you have...what did you call it? Centipede? Very cool tip...great layout!
Hey Carol...I left you lots of love on Let's Scrap...but again...this is a gorgeous layout! I am a new follower on your blog...chat soon!
